Looking for Software Developer in Oracle Platform for Multi year Project

 Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain all databases required for development, testing, education and production usage.
• Perform the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases. Work closely with system administration staff to work on issues for the installed applications or tools along with Oracle Databases. Perform ongoing tuning of the database instances.
• Install new versions of the Oracle RDBMS and its tools that access the Oracle database. Plans and implements backup and recovery of the Oracle database.
• Controls migrations of programs, database changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle. Implement and enforce security for all of the Oracle Databases.
• Performs database re-organizations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum uptime of the database.
• Implementation of changes and extensions in existing applications and analysis for further development of existing applications.
• Follow standards to ensure all application design and code is produced with proper integrity, security and performance. Perform reviews on the design and code to ensure the site standards are being adhered to.
• Evaluate releases of Oracle and its tools, and third party products to ensure that the site is running the products that are most appropriate.
• Provide technical support to application development teams through help desk.
• Participate in creating internal business specifications, creating technical design for business features, breaking down features to technical tasks, workload estimation.
• Execute development tests, create unit tests and Fix bugs in existing applications reported by clients or internal testers.

Requirements:

• Requires minimum of Bachelors degree in computer science or Information Technology or related field or its Equivalent.
• Good Knowledge of database query languages such as Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server.
• Knowledge of operating system(s) such as UNIX & Linux.
• Knowledge of physical database design
• Good Communication Skills

  QlikView developer candidate should have an knowledge of Reporting, BI and Data Visualization tools especially QlikView. They should have the ability to embrace new technologies quickly and apply their knowledge and experience to BI/Data products and associated implementation projects. 

• Work closely with technical team to design, develop, and test QlikView applications/dashboards based upon software specifications, user/business requirements, and design standards.
• Perform analysis of source system data and model that data in QlikView
• Visualize data in QlikView applications (dashboards, reports, etc.) in order to answer business questions
• Design, develop, and test QlikView scripts to import data from source systems and test QlikView reports/dashboards to meet customer requirements.
• Requirement gathering and understanding the requirements from Business analyst.
• Analysis of the requirement and coming up with an approach and solution.
• Deployment the code in development environment.
• Working closely with designers and user experience analysts on bringing mockups or wireframes through development to final delivery.
• Work within a fast paced agile development environment. Work with team members on application design.
• Collaborate with project team members and other information technology colleagues to create systems from defined customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and recommend solutions to existing production issues.

Educational Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other equivalent degree equivalent work experience
• Qlik Trainer Experience
• NPrinting administration
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Job Responsibilities:

Need Java developers to work on end to end application process.

Skills Required :

• HTML5 and CSS3
• JQuery, Angular, Backbone, Prototype, Bootstrap or other front end frameworks
• Experience with Spring and Spring MVC framework
• User Experience design
• Developing cross-browser, cross-platform, and/or cross-device applications
• Hibernate and/or JPA
• Design and development of RESTful web services
• Experience with JSTL and custom tag libraries

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelors degree in Computer science, MIS, Information Science, or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience required
• Advanced experience programming for Java Applications
• Minimum of 1 years programming experience with tools: Java, Spring, Angular, PL/SQL, forms,  Framework, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision

 • 3+ years software development experience in multiple languages (Scala/Java/Python ).

• 3+ years Big data development experience

• Must have Experience in the use of SQL/HQL/NoSQL

• Experience with Map reduce, Hive, Spark, Sqoop, Kafka, Presto, Impala.

• Experience with NoSQL data modelling with Cassandra/Hbase/MongoDB etc.

• Experience with OLAP, NoSQL and MPP/columnar database technologies

• Ability to perform data related benchmarking, performance analysis and tuning

• Strong skills in In-memory applications, Database Design, Data Integration, ETL and MPP Architecture.

• Good understanding of Data Warehousing & BI Concepts.

• Experience writing shell scripts using (ksh, bash, perl or python)

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
