Title: Software Engineers (Splunk)
Duties: Develop, customize and implement database applications and analytics solutions using Splunk, Splunk DB Connect, Oracle, PL/SQL, Perl, Python, Linux, Windows, AIX, etc. Implement, manage and maintain various Enterprise Splunk instances such as Search Heads, Indexers, and Forwarders. Analyze user needs to design, develop and test complex Splunk dashboards, apps and data models for advanced search and analytics. Create and manage Splunk DB indentities, database connections, database inputs, access controls. Install the forwarders/agents on the client servers to collect different types of data and send it to Splunk. Create and maintain configuration files required for data ingestion to Splunk. Perform data normalization, parsing and event breaking to eliminate unwanted data.
Requirements: MS or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology or IS or Engineering (any) or Closely related and 6 months of experience in application development using data application and analytics technologies. Will accept course work in database applications or analytics in lieu of experience.
Location: Alpharetta, GA
